Altona Moods
  • Altona Moods

A very moody long exposure taken at Altona Beach on a chilly spring evening in 2017.  I had headed out in search of an ideal location to capture what I thought would be a wonderful sunset, however the further I drove the more I realised that the light just wasnt going to play.  I decided to pull the pin on my preferred location and head to Altona which was on the way home.  I'd wanted to use the 10 stop filter I'd recently purchased to add a bit more 'artistry' into some of my images, and so thought it would be an ideal opportunity to try it out.  With the fading light, the exposure time was over five minutes, meaning I only really had one shot.  Luckily it worked out well.

    Location - Altona Beach, VIC.
