An apocalyptic sunrise engulfs the sanctuary of Williamstown's various boat and yacht jetties. My camera was actually facing in the opposite direction originally, as I was talking to a former resident of the area who had left 30 years ago and had just arrived from the other side of the country after a 4 day drive. He was describing how much things had changed, especially the number of boats that were moored, when he pointed in this direction and we both took a deep breath as we saw what was appearing in the sky. Needless to say it was not only a rewarding day with the camera but definitely enriching hearing about times past.
