A humid, stormy sunset at the old boat ramp at Williamstown beach. The long exposure gives a frenzied effect to the clouds above but does exactly the opposite to the water which appears calm and smooth, even thought it wasnt. I almost missed this shot, as I was watching the Australian Open tennis at the time, and it was only after the broadcast showed a shot of the setting sun over Melbourne that I realised what was on show. I grabbed my gear and rushed to this spot and luckily captured the drama.
Location - Williamstown Beach, VIC.
