Sometimes jet lag can be a benefit, as it was this particular morning, having just arrived in the UK 2 days before. I was wide awake long before sunrise and could see that there was a very strong possibility of some fantastic light. I headed out to the hills above luton, Bedfordshire but just could not get a decent composition. I was getting desperate as this amazing sunrise formed above, so frantically searched for an element to place in the image to link the sky and the ground. Luckily, just in time i found this old decaying tree, which seemed to fit perfectly into the shot.
