It has taken me a long time to appreciate the ornate beauty of trees.  In an attempt to expand my creative boundaries and having spent a long time photographing the grand landscape I decided to concentrate more on intimate scenes and ones that fill the whole field of view.   I can't remember how many times I had walked past this particular subject but it was only after I stood underneath it with the camera pointed upwards I realised how stunning the shape of it actually was.
