The Calm Before

The weather forecast all week had predicted a huge rain even to begin on this particular day.  Listening to reports of "damaging lightning and once in a generation flooding" didn't fill me with much confidence that there would be many opportunities for photography, however as I woke early I could see that firstly it was still dry and, more importantly, there was a colourful glow appearing in the sky.  I headed down to a location I know well in Williamstown and managed to capture the glorious, if stormy, dawn.  The rain did actually begin as I was setting up, however a trusty umbrella thats always in my camera bag, provided enough shelter before I had to call it a day.

Location - Williamstown, VIC.
