I'd wanted to visit this area during Autumn for a while but, due to the Covid restrictions that had been imposed over the previous couple of years, had been unable to.  Thankfully in 2022 there were no limitations on travel in place so headed to the Dandenong Ranges  in the east of Melbourne in search of the seasonal colour on offer.  It can be tricky, especially if you're limited in how many opportunities you have to get to a particular location, to judge when the 2-3 weeks of peak colour are at their height and to be honest I was probably a week or so early but, was more than happy composing images with the changing leaves I was provided with.
