I first visited this beautiful cove whilst on a short family vacation to the Mornington Peninsula just before the state of Victoria was placed into a 16 week lockdown due to Covid-19.  On that original visit the light had promised something good but, as is so often the case during the winter months, heavy cloud had rolled in and snuffed out any possibilty of an image. 
So when restrictions were lifted and we were allowed to go more than 25km from home, I headed straight back to see if I could capture something pleasing.  As had happened previously, my first revisit promised so much and delivered nothing but at the end of  November 2020 another return trip brought about something truly special.  Even though I had to share the space with a photography workshop that arrived at the same time as I did, we all managed to socially distance and create a beautiful scene.
