Having been denied the opportunity to get out and photograph the Autumn colours of 2020 due to the Covid 19 lockdowns, I made sure I took every opportunity I could to try and capture the 2021 offerings.  Knowing there is usually only a window of around 3-4 weeks where the trees are in full glory before the seasonal storm roll through and blow the leaves away, I scouted many locations looking for interesting compostions in the nearby ranges, that are famed for the palette they provide at that time of year.  
Unbeknown to me, this location was no more than 5 minutes from my doorstep in the local botanical gardens, and it was only whilst out running an errand that I happened to notice the wonderful colours that were beginning to peak on this tree. 
I eagerly returned the next morning with my gear and managed to capture this beautiful scene.
