A perfect crescent moon appears above the intense colours of a summer sunset.  I had been shooting another scene a short drive away from here and looking in the opposite direction, when I happened to turn around and see the sky behind me.  I didn't have time to pack away so grabbed my gear and quickly drove to my local beach and captured this lovely scene.  If viewed close up, Venus also appears below the moon.
