The summer dawn begins to transform the sky above St Leonards Pier during early 2022.  I was enjoying a family holiday in the area and was luckily staying only 5 minutes away from this location, so decided to take a quick look out of the curtains to see if there was any possibility of some light and colour.  Even though it was still dark the first beams of daylight began to illuminate the clouds above just enough for me to be convinced there would be a chance of a nice sunrise, so I gathered my gear, crept out of our holiday home and headed straight for this spot.  Thankfully the sunrise lived up to expectations and I was very happy with this simple, yet vibrant image.
