Mount Nicholas, one of the many majestic peaks that tower over Queenstown, in New Zealand, glows in the soft light of dawn, as the early morning mist begins to dissipate.  I wanted to include some of the foreground properties in the image, in order to give a sense of scale and felt a vertical orientation suited that aim.  It almost feels as though there is a photographic opportunity around every corner in this beautiful part of the world.
