Downtown
Each year over the summer holidays the Ferris wheel become part of the skyline in Barwon Heads and can provide an obvious focal point. It can be a challenge to try and compose something that is a little different, so I set about trying to make an image that would still be recognisable, yet be a change from the norm. What could be more different than a "sleepy coastal town" than a fast moving big city so with that in mind, I positioned my tripod and gear at the entrance to the bridge (I'm sure most motorists thought it was a speed camera) and just had to wait for the right amount of traffic in both ways to capture the lights trails to add to the spinning wheel in the distance.
