The spiritual heart of Melbourne, the MCG, stands proudly beneath a glorious summer sunset.  I had actually headed out in the completely opposite direction looking for a rural composition but as I drove south I could see that the best of the light would be in the opposite direction to the location I had in mind.  So, I turned the car around and headed back north, with little time to think of where I could photograph.  I settled on the Melbourne CBD, and as I walked over the Princes Bridge I could see the sky developing above the coliseum in the distance and instantly know that the "G" would be my focal point.
