Lines in the Sand
Whilst browsing my portfolio during the winter of 2025 I realised that even though I live in a beautiful coastal town, I didn't have many actual photographs from here. I then made a conscious decision to try and make more photographs in and around my immediate local area. It was an enjoyable experience trying to compose what I sometimes take for granted and on this particular evening despite the lack of an obvious subject, I was immediately drawn to the striking lines on the shoreline, made by the receding tide and small sea creatures. As the sun set on the horizon, it was then merely a case of finding the ones that led directly towards it and ensuring everything was in focus.
