The pier at Point Lonsdale is so photogenic, with its weathered timbers and the unpredictable tide below, and I find myself returning here time and again as each time I do, there is always a different mood to the scene.  his particular evening was at the end of a wet, early autumn day but, somewhat surprisingly, there was not a breath of wind and also nobody else about.  This allowed me to relax, as I wasn't having to "chase the light", so took a number of different compositions, most of which I was extremely satisfied with.
