Like a scene from an old Sci-Fi horror movie this sea stack at Point Lonsdale appears to emerge from beneath the surface looking for its next victim. In reality it was actually a very pleasant and warm evening where I was lucky enough to take a number of different images and still have pleanty of time to experiment with more compositions. For this image I could envisage in my mind how I would like the end product to look but, would need to be patient and wait for the right swirl from the wave as well as have the correct shutter speed. Luckily for me I was only waiting for about 15 minutes until this combination materialised.
