Princes Bridge
As the Melbourne Skyline continues to evolve behind, Princes Bridge stands as a constant reminder of the Victorian heyday of the city. I took this image in early 2021, soon after the first gruelling covid lockdown had ended. Where it is usually packed with tourists taking pictures of the skyline and Yarra River, on this evening, even at the height of summer it was eerily quiet. Thankfully now when I do look at this photograph it brings back happier memories of watching daring folk, who had no doubt taken a double shot of dutch courage, jumping off in more carefree days.
Location - Princes Bridge, Melbourne CBD.
