I had visited this spot at the end of Ferguson Street Pier in Williamstown on more occassions than I care to remember waiting for the right light and colour in the sky for a shot I'd seen in my minds eye for such a long time. The sunrise on this particular morning was better than I'd imagined and it just managed to cast enough light on the skyscrapers of the Melbourne CBD whilst bringing the yachts in the foreground out of the shadows just enough to balance the scene.
