Tangled
I wasn't blessed with many photographic opportunities in the UK during my short stay there, in summer 2023. This particular area was one I had visited regularly as a child with my family, enjoying many a long evening walk with the dog. I headed here hoping to capture either the majestic view over the rolling hills of Bedfordshire, or a nice woodland scene however, the light wasn't conducive for either. As I trudged back to the car park, I noticed this twisted, ornate Oak tree by the side of the trail and immediately saw the potential for an image. After refining the composition to ensure everything was in focus and as symmetrical as possible, I opened the shutter capturing a beautiful natural abstract.
