The Timeball Tower is a hidden gem of Melbourne's inner-west. Its stood watch over the development of Melbourne and provided valuable security and guidance to unimaginable amounts of ships over the decades. There is an almost pleasant eeriness though, which I think comes from the very dark bluestone blocks used in its construction, and this particular morning the dramatic sunrise behind added to the mystique.
Location - Williamstown, VIC.
