An early Autumn scouting mission into the rolling fields of Victoria's Yarra Valley, provided me with this wonderful scene.  I had driven for a few hours around the area making note of potential compositions, more specifically trees or patches of woodland that would change to the rich vibrant colours of the season a few weeks into the future.  As I was driving it became apparent that there was some glorious soft light beginning to flood across the valleys so I decided to see if I could capture what was on offer.  I headed along another narrow lane beside a vineyard, initially disappointed at the landscape in front of me but after continuing further down the track I stopped right next to this spot and could see exactly the image I was after.
I returned to this exact spot a few weeks later and the leaves on the vines included more yellows, reds and browns but I was never afforded the beautiful glow from the sky again.
